[OTA] Back to Her Roots
Today, the door of Avery's apartment at Diamond Castle is wide open, and if you peek inside, you'll see her at the kitchen counter, an apron tied over her jeans and her hair in a high ponytail. And there's an interesting mix of scents. First is the roast chicken, a simple recipe but a classic, and the mustard and the thyme are mingling in the air. Under that is the faint scent of chocolate, and it's easy to see why that is; she's frosting a chocolate cake with whipped ganache. A bottle of white wine is on the counter; fresh greens are washed and ready for a salad, and the ingredients for a vinaigrette are sitting out for when she's got the cake done.
