A Midsummer's Night Dream: The Clubs' Harvest Festival Revue
The theatre is lit up and decorated in blues, purples and greens. Strings of fairy lights (they claimed a few before the Spades took them all) light the aisles and strategic spots on the stage. A glossy dark piano awaits the performers as the audience begins to fill in. Backstage is a buzz of activity as Cards struggle into costumes, put makeup on, experiment with hair, and try not to pass out from nerves practice.
But as happens with all performances, eventually the show must begin.
