Hadyn had listened to far too many riddles in the coming weeks to this. He'd answered enough of them to think he was seeing riddles everywhere- It was a symptom of something he was sure. And while he had faith, he'd held his breath it seemed like through the whole thing.

And then came the fighting.

It took everything to not stand up and pace. Honestly, it wasn't from lack of faith, but the fact that...Alexander was know for his prowess with a weapon. Elisha- not so much. And there was that whole 'love' business that just made the thing hard to watch in general. Even Leona, Elisha's one woman fan club (donned in a Team Elisha baby-doll tee-shirt) had a hard time watching.

And when it was over, she nearly sent them both tumbling to the ground with her wild and unexpected bear hug while squealing in his ear. For a woman that didn't seem to like him all that much, she was rather loose with the hugging. At least until she bound up to find someone else to launch herself happily at as he got to his feet and made his way to King Elisha ( ... )

"...Oh Great Lord of the Sword," Elisha repeats after a moment, looking at Hadyn with a raised brow. Does he get that in the bedroom now, because it might be too much like a cheesy porno for his liking.

"I'll see if they can add that to the list of titles. They can read them off when I visit the other Castles."

"What? I'm practicing my improv skills." He grinned, though. It wouldn't make it into the bedroom, at least. Hadyn wasn't quite that willing to be that ridiculous at the moment.

"Maybe you should. I wouldn't let Leona come up with the titles though- she has a weird obsession with trying to fit as many 'titles' into your name as she can."

"Is that why the sign was big enough to wrap around both of you, then?" Oh yes, he noticed that. "I think I might be a boring traditionalist and stick with Your Majesty. It's less confusing that way."

He wrapped an arm around Hadyn's shoulders. "Were you worried?"

"You're right, that is boring." Hadyn said with a smirk. "Terribly so, actually. Someone should call you 'My Hippopotamus' just to throw in a random from time to time."

As for worried? He made a bit of a face, lifting up a hand to lace his fingers in with Elisha's from where it hung off his shoulders. "No. Well....a little. But...he is a touch more known for his sword-skill than you are, you know."

"I was thinking of adding I Am the Walrus, actually, just for fun." He grinned, though, tugging Hadyn's closer.

"Well, that's why I've been training in swords for the entire month of June," he told him, "though I'm certain that Alexander would be disappointed that I didn't beat up any trees, but instead stuck with sparring with other human beings."

"I never took you for a Beatles fan, My Lord." Hadyn remarked as he leaned in close.

"I should let you go about your....business. Maybe get you some food and take it back to your rooms." Or something. There were just a lot of people, he realized, watching this little scene.

Which, granted, he had agreed to being public about it. It just seemed like a less insane idea a few days ago.

"The classics never die," or something. John Lennon had died two years after Elisha was born.

"I suppose," he agrees. "The populace awaits, and I have to corral the Twos for moving my office." His rooms could wait until the next week. He turns and kisses Hadyn on the cheek. "I won't be too long."

Yes, he knew she was watching. But Laureline Novak could deal with it.

"Try not to get me maimed before I'm twenty-two," he asked softly with a slightly bemused expression. Or worse, get himself killed.

But Hadyn squeezed Elisha's hand a little before he pulled away and moved off. He would get them food and then wander back to Elisha's rooms to settle in. It would be nice.
