All one really had to do to find him at this hour was follow the sound of grunts once one got near the gym. Push the door open and there he was. She watched for a second, then moved a little closer. The cast was off, but her arm looked like it had been squished in comparison to the other one -- and for all intents and purposes, it had been. The atrophy was minor, but present. And annoying.
"Hey baby," she said when the grunts took a pause. "Rough day?"

His mind noted a presence, but it was on the peripheral of his thoughts as he kept moving, kept hitting-- until he stopped.
The voice had him turning, a half-smile on his face as he lifted a hand to wipe away the sweat on his face. "Hey Ames. What's up?"
