Saturday dawned brightly on a flurry of activity down on the Green. Last minute booth-building, people bringing whatever items, foods, and music they'd chosen to use to represent their particular cultures and decorating their booths.
And Elani running from booth to booth doing whatever she can to help and smiling more broadly than likely anyone has seen her since the news of Lancelot's demise.
Standing in the middle of everything, as the festival took its final shape, was more than a bit chaotic, music from a dozen different cultures all melding into one mass of sound, smells from a hundred cooking-pots, brightly colored clothes and banners fluttering in the breeze and-...
...it was beautiful.
And it was open.
[ooc: as
this post says, slowtagging, backtagging, timey-wimeyness are all okay. The festival is going on all weekend. You can also find on that post a non-exhaustive list of booths to visit. If you don't see something you'd like to see on the list, just pretend an NPC is running it. :)]
