An official visit for once
She'd been planning to go back to the embassy in her new official capacity - something she hadn't entirely been thrilled with initially, but hadn't been that surprised at either, in retrospect - but first she needed to wait for her gift for the Arcana (by which she means Christophe, specifically) to arrive and get engraved. Then it had, and almost immediately Silke and Asmodai had appeared on her afternoon reading path.
And Zoe decided maybe she should do that relatively soon.
So it was only a few days later that she rounded up Blythe - because she was the official envoy, after all - Lisa, because she'd been wanting to go, a basket of strawberry and cream biscuits that she put together in the kitchens, and a neatly wrapped box with the kaleidoscope, and headed over to the embassy again.
