"Those are going to kill you one of these days." Zoe managed to sound quietly amused, though, as she flopped down next to Hadyn and leaned back against her hands, eying him critically. He looked tired, which was understandable - and she'd only seen some of half of it.

"You've been around your boyfriend too long, you know." He said with a rye look. "And that might just kill you one of these days." Or so the rumors would like to suggest.

"It is a frequent refrain," she admitted, though it hadn't been heard as often since Elisha quit. "I think that's approximately as likely as Julien just killing Amy and hiding the body." She paused, raising a brow. "No, it's definitely a lot less likely than that."

Zoe turned to look at Hadyn, and then nudged him. "Turn. I'll see if I can work some of the knots out before your muscles petrify."

"Yeah, yeah." He said, but he turned as she instructed.

"You know, this little scene is gonna look awfully romantic. He won't have a problem with it, will he?" he said, with a grin over his shoulder.

She smirked a little as surprisingly strong fingers dug into his muscles. "If Victor happens over here, I'm pretty sure he'd just raise his eyebrows." A lot. "If Elisha did, though..."

Though they'd broken up, and Zoe made a face behind Hadyn's back. "Sorry."

"You don't have to walk on eggshells, you know. It isn't like it was more than a fling." He said, sighing a little. Because it was definitely more than a fling.

"The past is the past, you know?"

It lasted six months. Hadyn had started...flinging with Elisha back in November. That's what most people define as a real relationship.

Boys. Still weird after all these years. "If you say so," she says. "So I'm not required to inflict any horrible punishments on him for breaking your heart? Victor might object." Possibly, it was hard to tell with those two.

"You'd do that for me? Maybe I should let him break my Heart a little." He said with a wink, before trying not to smile too fondly. Maybe he'd drag himself to Club Castle instead of home after this.

"I do think I have a new fling in sight." He said lightly. "Gaston? Do you know him?"

"In a second," Zoe said with an answering grin. "Maybe I should, and tell you all about his expression."

She looked thoughtful then, though, as she worked his shoulders. "Fitzgerald, right? I think he's Adrien's...uncle. Ridiculously gorgeous." She was still allowed to appreciate, after all, and she raises an eyebrow. "Just flirting right now, or something more?"

"Please. Just flirting for now." He said, though he didn't think it would ever go beyond that. "I'm certain that Gaston Fitzgerald could have whoever and whatever he wanted at the drop of a hat. No reason....to think anything else will come of flirting with me."

"Yeah, that's the impression I've gotten." Not that Gaston was hugely full of himself - or at least took care not to appear that way - but there was a certain kind of charm that men who thought they could have everything had. You found it in all the Suits.

"Why did you and Elisha break up?"

Why did they break up? Hadyn frowned at that. "We weren't together to start with, you know." Despite the jealous fit Elisha had thrown. Which had been over nothing. Why did that always happen to him?

"Elisha was upset that I have a liking for conversation with Dr. Rhodes. We thought it best to just part ways after that."

"...After six months?" Although it could be said that she wasn't the best person to judge that sort of thing. She and Victor had been...fast, by anyone's standards.

"Hmm. Well, maybe it was for the best, in that case. "

"What do you mean?" He asked, tilting his head a little as he looked back over his shoulder. "I thought you were all for the whole dating things." Given her rush into her thing with Victor Fox.

"I am," she said with a shrug. She'd fallen hard and fast, and had maybe been trying to escape a little bit, too. "But if you don't even talk about whether you're dating for that long, maybe it's not going to work out. You have to communicate." She paused, because it wasn't as if she was dating the King of Communication herself.

"Or at least be okay with reading in between the lines."

"Yeah, yeah. Can we talk about something else, please?" He asked, sighing. "Like...how hot tights are when all the lights are centered on you."
