A few minutes later, maybe, Gaston comes back to the theater, slowing down a bit as he catches sight of Hadyn sitting on the steps. After a moment of indecision, he stops, turning to the younger boy. "Hey, Hamlet. Something wrong?"

"Should something be wrong?" He asked, raising a brow slowly. "Though- you know I do have a name, right?" They weren't even easy to mistake for the other, either. But he wasn't going to point that out to Gaston.

"Least I'm finally remembering most of my lines."

"Well... do you always hang out around the theatre after practice is let out?" He hesitates, then takes a seat next to him, shrugging a shoulder.

"Right. Hadyn. I know. Sorry. So what's up, if there's nothing wrong?"

"Maybe I do," he said with a smirk, before taking another drag of his cigarette.

"Nothing, really." He said with shrug. "Just tired. I'd consider sleeping here, but frankly I think my back wouldn't survive." Pausing, he eyed Gaston. "What brings you back? Miss me already?"

"Sorry, honey, I didn't mean to assume. Though... sleeping here doesn't seem to be the best idea." Gaston shrugs in response, running a hand through his hair.

"... Me? No, I just forgot a few pages of the script. They're probably just sitting on a chair. Though, I have to say, seeing you at practice is one of the highlights of my day."

"Oh is it?" He said with a grin. "Should I be flattered? Because I just might be."

He snubbed out his cigarette, and tilted his head to the side as he grinned. "Does this mean you've forgiven me for taking the spotlight from you?"

"You should be extremely flattered. I don't think quite so highly of many of our fellow actors." This is... obvious.

"And I could only hold a grudge for so long, Novak. I will have to do with Horatio until you've moved on to bigger and better things than acting. Or perhaps one day, it'll be Master Hadyn dressing us up in tights and having us run through scenes."

"Oh, well- in that case let me blush and cast my eyes away bashfully." He said with an amused tone.

"No, no...I don't think I'll ever Master Hadyn. For one- I am not convinced Master Hadyn will ever die...but I don't think I've got the Heart for it."

[fitzthepart]

"Oh, don't do that. I'm fairly sure it would be too cute for me to handle." He laughs, resting his chin on his hand.

"And if you haven't got the heart for it, I'm not sure anyone does." Except. Well. Him. Expect Master Gaston in a few years.

"Would it? And just how would you handle something like that?"

Though he was grinning, "oh? Master Gaston? Should I start begging you for roles now?"

"Well, I'm quite sure I wouldn't know unless it actually happened."

He shakes his head with a smile, turning away for a moment. "Oh, if only. I can only hope."

Well, that just meant that Hadyn had to find an excuse to play bashful, didn't it?

"And how does one go about begging a role from Master Gaston?" He asked, tilting his head a little.

[fitzthepart]

"Well, I suppose that would depend on how badly you wanted it. And how well you... I don't know - expressed that you wanted it. Or something like that." He smirks, leaning forward slightly. "Or it could depend on how cute you are while asking."

[maskofhearts]

"Oh, now that almost sounds like you are asking for a demonstration." Hadyn said in an amused tone, before he leaned in a little as well.

"Should I do it here...or inside?"

[fitzthepart]

"Well, I don't know. Is there anyone who wouldn't like to see you here?" There's a challenging tone to Gaston's voice. "I see no reason to move otherwise."

"No one," he had to admit though his stomach turned a little. "I am the star of the show, they say. Everyone wants to see the star."

And then he leaned in, closing the gap between their lips as he caught Gaston's in his. This, he told himself, was like playing any other role.
