Indeed? [Please, do go on. He is extremely interested in what you're saying despite the speed at which his hands continue to prepare today's lunch spread.]

Really.
And why couldn't she stay properly mad at him, anyway. ]

He was upset, Miss Athena.
[They had been too long for it to be Miss Jack between them. The cup of hangover cure is set down in front of her without so much as a click.]
Reply
[ She inspects the cup with some distaste, but ends up taking a sip, anyway. Anything to make that pain go away. ]
That might have been the reason why I hadn't expect anything but an argument.
Reply
[Because she obviously wanted to talk, and that made it sound like there was more than words in the pair's conversation.]

Oh, and a whole lot of confusion.

Indeed? [Have some chocolate. He is extremely sympathetic, because that doesn't seem to make any sense.]
Reply
Also, behold it world, she actually eats chocolate without considering the fact that it might end up on her hips.]
Angrily. He... claimed it was a mistake.

His head bends nods in her direction, tilting slightly to the side - though nothing compared to Chives' gravity defying movement.]

[She leans back and takes a sharp breath when her headache acts up again.]

Then what do you plan to do?
[Sean had learned over the years that people didn't come to him for advice. They came to him to talk about their troubles with someone sympathetic, to have a sounding board they could use to come to their own conclusions.
He loved that. loved being able to help.]

But, in all honesty, she adores you right now, Sean.]
On the long run? I will fix this.
But right now?
Nothing. Giving him time, I suppose?
I mean, I broke into his private rooms and more or less forced this talk upon him, and hell, I assumed he'd call the guards on me instead of anything happening, so... there was more 'progress' made than I would have expected, even though virtually nothing actually changed.
The most important thing that came of it is the fact that we both have some sort of basic idea where the other one is standing right now.
[She finishes off the hangover cure (and the pills, for that matter).] It's all one huge mess.
Reply
No reason to ask that now, however. Not with it already said and done.]
Nothing is unfixable. [he assures her gently, pouring her a cup for something warm and tasty to help take care of the hangover-cure taste.]
