The Hungry Earth review-spolier alert!!!
I enjoyed this way of doing it last time so I'm doing it again!
I shall watch and post as I go along, thus my reactions shall be fresh...if a bit delayed...I'm most of the way through a bottle of wine...and feeling quite nice. :)
I have taken to skipping the beginning credits. I despise the new take on the theme so I avoid it at all costs.

OMG I want to live there! And 21 kilometers = 13 MILES into the Earth...I am reminded of Journey to the Center of the Earth which I mostly watched for Brendan Fraser but was a half decent movie in its own right.

One thing I think I should mention. I know the aliens in this one are called Silurians. Now from what I understand they are an Old!Who baddie. I've never seen the old series so I'm seeing them with fresh eyes...so I won't be comparing them to the old ones.

So I totally have a girl crush on Karen Gillan...she is gorgeous! And her legs are amazing...*nods*
Awwww!!!! Well we now know Amy and Rory are still together in ten years...and they have come to watch themselves...how's that for wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey? And The Doctor's right, we humans are VERY nostalgic.
LOL! Rory is worried about Amy losing her ring. I'm just glad she's wearing it. I like Amy and Rory together. I think they are quite cute. And while I can see Amy/Eleven...I find it highly unlikely anything will ever come of it. They've had their obligatory companion/Doctor snog and that should be that. This Doctor isn't as fond of affection as Ten was...*sniffles* I miss Ten!!!

So...if I was Amy, I would be freaking. I'm more than a bit claustrophobic. Once I was stuck in an airplane on the runway for 6 hours. And my assigned seat was the middle of five seats. My dad was beside me and about two hours in I turned to him, white as a sheet, and told him that if he didn't switch seats with me, I was going to start screaming and possibly passing out. So he swapped seats with me.
Awwww...Rory is worried about The Doctor. But I think that's just the kind of person Rory is. He's obviously a very caring person. Hence the nurse bit.
Oh shit! The TARDIS has been hijacked!!! *grumbles* This happens in like every season. I am officially tired of it. So I really don't like the Silurians...they annoy me.
And the whole "stupid apes" thing. Done to DEATH in the Eccleston era. I'm sick of it.
I really like Nasreen Choudhly. She is a really cool lady and she takes The Doctor and the TARDIS in stride. She would make a great companion. I think.
So a cliffie...I hate cliffhangers. I'm such a nervous person that I work myself into a frenzy over cliffhangers.

So all in all, a good ep I suppose. But I think my favorite so far has to be Amy's Choice I'm a huge fan of alternate realities and parallel worlds that it just appealed to me in all the right ways.
