Have you seen these marionettes?
On Saturday night, Aug. 7, six marionettes were stolen from Gypsy Realm Productions at the
Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire in Gig Harbor, WA.
Blue Fairy, about 18"-24", long nose, long ears, all in blue - one-of-a-kind sculpture, neoprene head. Her strings were cut by the thieves, so she might be marketed as a doll.
Jester Rabbit, over 3' tall tan, beige and white plush bunny un a yellow-and-red jester outfit with jester slippers.
Peasant Rabbit, about the same size as the Jester, in a scarf, bodice and skirt.
Fairy Princess, 2'-3' tall, in purple, "real"-type eyes, elf ears, vinyl head.
Princess, about 3', vinyl doll head, blue or pink costume, sleeves go past hands.
King/Prince, the tallest marionette (over 3'), with a papier-mache gourd head, a crown, a garish blue & gold paisley outfit.
These beautiful marionettes are all hand-made, and their maker is as heartbroken as if she'd lost her children, not to mention the fact that her show is her primary source of income. No questions will be asked if whoever took them just returns them.
They could be marketed on e-bay under toys, dolls, marionettes, puppets or string puppets. They could turn up at a Ren Faire, SCA event, street fair, flea market or yard sale. If you see them, or you have any information, please contact:
