IC002: Running

Housey scurried as fast as his short little legs would let him. The sky was growing dark, the trees were growing more numerous, and he was probably heading the wrong way from any sort of help, but he didn't care. He had to run away from whatever this weird feeling was. It was like being sad and scared and confused all at the same time-- and it frightened Housey. He'd experienced each of those emotions, but never at the same time.
And to feel so mixed up because of something he'd said to Master Groudon just made it all the worse.
'I shouldn't have!' Housey thought, still scurrying. 'I shouldn't have hummed that stupid song, or told her I liked her, or run away, or...'
His legs were beginning to hurt, but he kept running even still. Finally, his legs gave out from beneath him and he collapsed onto the grass, heaving and panting. Groudon hadn't followed him, and as far as he knew, nobody else was around.
'She's never gonna like me now. I... I doubted her, and ran away from her, and...'
"I'm so sorry, Master Groudon," Housey choked out, tears forming in his eyes.
