Thanks so much for worrying about me Pel. I'll be all safe, don't worry.

Thanks also for the real Cinderella story.
Urgh, she's a bad and spoiled girl *Face-palm*
I don't kinda like the story except the no-midnight thing because that's not good for a young girl to come home late lol
But I think most of old stories are just like that, inserted with cruel elements.

You surely learned a lot in high school O_____o.
Astrophysics caught my eyes! Awesome!!

Like I told you, we enter secondary school at 13 and there's like lower (13 - 15) and upper (16 - 17) secondary.
In lower secondary, all students study the same subjects; Malay, English, Math, Science, Geography, History, Islamic study/ Moral (for non-Muslim) and I don't know what it's called in English but a subject about skills, like cooking, sewing and repairing house and stuffs.
In upper secondary, we are divided into two streams; science and art according to our exam results.
Malay, English, Math, History and Islamic study are compulasory subjects.
In science, our additional subjects are Physic, Biology, Chemistry, Additional Math, English Science and Technology, but we can take any extra subjects from art stream too.
In art, they have to take general science subject and they are divided into few groups;
Commence and Economy
Information and Technology
Art

So, I'm so amazed to know Italians learn a lot *____* That's really impressing.

Uhmn... the subject you don't know how call in english, in italian is "Economia Domestica" in english should be called "Home Economics" or "Family and consumer science"... We should ask to Pippa ^^

Anyway, here there was the same subject before! And with "before" I mean when my 1st sister was in middle school... so... more or less 36 years ago XD

Ehmn... Actually italians don't learn a lot X*D
What I wrote above, were the subject I studied in my school because I chose to attend a experimental course called "Project Michelangelo"...
The traditional Art lyceum course, had the half of the subject I studied...
And subjects are different from school to school...
For example for lyceum, the scientific one, had the same subject as mine plus Latin language, but there weren't all the subject art-related. The classical lyceum had all the subject I studied except the art-related ones and the math-related ones were only a few, but they had Latin language and greek language...

Institutes, like high schools for surveyors or electricians had totally different subject.
I mean, yes, they had math, english, italian grammar... but the other subject were related to the job they were going to do...

And also the weekly hours of school were different... I had between 40 and 44 hours at week of school... Scientific lyceum had 35-38 hours of school... and so...

But 1 or 2 years after I graduated from High School, there was a new reform and they cut the hours of school (now are around 30-35)... So, the educational programs were absurdly cut and they also added the 2nd foreign language to every school...

When I was at middle and high school, the foreigner language was to choose between french, english and german (according to the availability the school gave) for example, when I was in middle school I had to choose between french and english, and I chose french. In High school the same, but, even though I chose french, after 2-3 months of school some of my classmates' parents complained with the director and forced him to turn our foreign language in english... so, after 4 months of school we started to study english and we had to hurry up to catch up with everything we missed in the previous 4 months T__T

Now, high school and middle school, has 2 foreigner languages that can be chosen between english and french or english and spanish.
But...
Really....
The kids/teenager now days can't even speak and write italian in the correct way...
I let you imagine how good they speak foreign languages X*D

Continuations... ---->

Well, yes, there are many but I chose the experimental course of my school just because of it....during the last months of middle school, I was 13, really confused and unsure about my future...My Italian teacher wanted for me I went in a Classical lyceum, my french teacher wanted I went in a Foreign Languages Lyceum... So one day I locked myself into my room and I focused on the papers with high schools description (they listed all the subject you had to study)... And... I chose the one that had more subjects and more hours of lessons in all my town '-.- The most fun thing is that from kindergarten I always hated to study...
Yes, I already was already a M...

<---- continuation of the previous comment

And we also have a big immigration problem...
Everyday hundreds of immigrants arrive, and the most can't even speak Italian...
Even though we don't even have jobs for italians, they keep on coming here, and a huge number, not finding a job, starts with criminality ....
Robberies, violence ...

You know, on tuesday I went in my town's center because I had to buy stuff for my father I could find only in the city... And...
O.o I was scared to walk in the historical center of my town were the most of the shops were because there were LOTS of foreigners with bad intentions.

Maybe it can sound racist, but it's really not because of the color of their skin...
(with black people from Africa, India and Asia(the most chinese), there is a big number of foreigners who came from Russia and ex URSS plus other eastern european countries, so they are even more white than us, is not that the problem)

Anyway much of these people stay everyday in the streets, without wash themselves, and dressing dirty stuff, where they hide knives and this kind of stuff... they follow you and keep on asking for money and other things (including sex)...
And if you walk in a street they marked as "their territory" you can die.

I wonder why. Why my peaceful and boring town turned like that.
Walking around the town for 100 persons I met, only 10 were italians, including the clerks.

It's sad... And you know what? Italian law... Protect foreigners but not italians.
For example...
A bar owner friend of my father, fired a female bartender because she basically didn't work... She just bring at bar her friends and chatted with them, giving them drinks for free... When she was fired, she went to I don't know what association and said them she was fired because she's black.
So, my father friend was processed and he had to pay 50.000 € (more or less 7millions of Yen) to her as compensation, plus the friend got so indebted for giving money to the bartender that she had to close down the bar and sell her house.

Another example... is: If some thief (especially a foreigner) enter in your shop or house for robbing, and you somehow hurt (or kill) him, even though is for self defense, you go straight away in jail, and you stay there for years, don't matter how you spend for the lawyer at the process...
While the robber, after getting cured for free, stay in jail for 1-2 months, then he is free to do it again.

There are also others examples but I prefer to keep quiet about it.

About Cinderella....
I never liked fairy-tales where weak princesses were rescued by princes or fairies or what...
Maybe I was a cruel kid, but I always thought : "If you want to change your life you have to do it by yourself, because in reality, no one will never came to help you."
Or something like that XD

Ohhhhh!!!
I can't imagine living in Italy.
Why the law is so ridiculous? Shouldn't you protect your own people?

Nah, don't worry. I understand what you mean, it's not being racists, but same like in Malaysia, there are a lot of immigrants from Bangladesh, Parkistan, Vietnam, Nepal and all come to work in my country while our young men are so lazy and want air-conditioned works.
The crimes commits by the foreigners and the local drugs addicts (as the don't have jobs) are increasing. My house had been robbed for countless times.
And, the foreigners commit the crimes due to poverty, so everywhere is the same. It's not about racists, but it's a socioeconomic problem.

Like, my friend who lives in Paris, she said mostly crimes there are committed by the immigrants from Arab and African countries (while you can find nice people in the original countries), so it's actually global problem. Not like this certain race are bad people or that race are good people. People are all the same, it's out situation, social status, way of thinking and behaving differ us.

Poor your father's friend, I just can't believe it! That's really nonsense. I feel so annoyed about the woman now!

I agree with your thoughts about fairy-tales.
I only watched it to improve my English skills and Bell is the only princess that I like because I think she works to achieve her happiness and she has a very kind heart to accept someone without caring about his appearance or status or behavior, like she can change the Beast and see through his heart. She's an awesome girl.

Yeah, here everything is just so absurd...And politicians don't care about the people but only abut their bank account and their personal interests...

Right?! It's exactly the same I always say, but somehow both people at fault than stupid people hide behind the racism stuff, creating this huge useless bubble where there is no rational thoughts and justice, but just a mess, where every bad thing is accepted if you are dishonest while your 1st mistake ruins your life if you're always been honest.

And yeah, poor her.. You know, by now, when something absurd happens, we are so disarmed and disillusioned that sighing we open our arms, and say: "We are in italy."

English? Here all cartoons are dubbed in italian (including anime) and also all movie and TV series...
(because here we had the biggest tradition and school of dubbers of europe)

From Walt Disney princess I agree, Bell was the only one I liked as well...
But my favorite disney cartoons were Robin Hood (animal version) and the Aristocats....
Well, I liked also Lady and the Tramp...
Hahaha yes, all cartoons about animals XD
