Quick story. Buddy of mine at work named Fey walks in, and says he voted. I'd heard there was already voting going on in Colorado, so this wasn't a shock, but of course I ask who he voted for. He paused at first, then admitted "I panicked. I voted for Nader" I chuckled at first, then realized he was serious, and straight out laughed "How'd that happen?" See, this guy is pretty damn liberal about most things, and up to this point, he was pretty sure about Kerry. But another guy at work, a right wing, has been working us to switch over the last few weeks. I've avoided it for the most part, but Fey's been under full assault since Kerry became the official candidate. "I don't know what happened. I was standing there, looking at the two names, and I just froze. I didn't know what to do, so I voted for Nader." After a moment, he then admitted "Oh, and I bought a pack of cigarettes.." He's been trying to quit, you see.. "I'm just so ashamed." I told him that's a bit much, and he just replied "You don't understand. I never thought I'd buy a pack of cigarettes and vote for Nader on the same day. It just shouldn't happen" I just laughed again. I love politics. :P
