i should be getting my tax return next week. not sure how much it'll be, but hopefully it can cover the huge bill i racked up yester! i had to just go out and buy a digital slr, with case, 2 lenses and memory card - and i have no idea how to use it.
i had to get all nervous about walking around with all this equipment in my bag so i was quickly making tracks back to the car when i passed the army disposals shop on elizabeth st near JB and they had shoes on sale out the front. i need some more appropriate shoes to wear for when i'm trekking through the hills of northern thailand other than the torn up skull and cross bones vans (with pink spray paint stripes) and the converse one stars that alex vivian's parents bought him but were too small that i always wear. so i go in... and about half an hour later came out with a new pair of hiking boots (that weren't on sale), a sleeping bag, insect repellent, a water bottle, a back pack, a padlock, a coat and a passport/money holder thing. the salesgirl was really nice, and just kept suggesting things that i felt i really wanted. so i spent more yesterday than what i paid for my whole trip.

on thursday i went on a leadership and management course in broadmeadows for my diploma of business. we all kept getting distracted by the ferals walking by the windows of the learning centre. 18 year old girls taking all their kids out in the pram to spend their government benefits together with crazys wearing socks and sandals and stubbies shorts in 12 degree weather.

but the course was really fun.. especially the myers-briggs type indicator test. it was no surprise that i turned out to be an ENTP - which means i talk a lot, am quick witted, can be a bit scattered, and have no patience for idiots. my most extreme trait was the P, which could account for times such as checking my flight for new zealand the night before i was due to leave and noticing that it had left 10 days ago, and going away for a weekend with 3 pairs of socks and no shoes. examples of careers typically held by ENTPs are lawyers, stand up comedians and science professors. some famous ENTPs are; Alexander the Great, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, Thomas Edison, Lewis Carrol, Valerie Harper (from 80s TV show Valerie - see below), Alfred Hitchcock and Tom Hanks. Sounds pretty normal until the list goes on and includes freaks such as; Celine Dion, Rodney Dangerfield, John Candy, Garfield the cat, Matthew Perry, Weird Al Yankovic, Wile E Coyote, Shirley from Laverne and Shirley and David Spade. No idea how they got Alexander the Great to do the test let alone Wile E Coyote.
