If you are around today, and have interest in seeing a spectacled bear being cut apart for maceration, let me know.
Yes, it was as gross/cool as it sounds. Really they are awesome stout creatures. By the time we got there, most the skull was stripped as was most the torso. It still had it's paws tho! err, but the legs those paws were attached too were on a separate table from the rest.... really cool claws. The VP bug and meat lab is a) as stinky as you'd imagine b) has 3 freezers full of really cool stuff. I'm glad I got to hop over there.
Then after that it was back to my lab and off to lunch. What was on the menu? Roast beef, of course.
