This is something that, surprisingly, I haven't seen too much of in House fanfic: a manipulative Cuddy. Here, she works the angles (and House's weaknesses) to get what she wants (or thinks she wants) out of him. There's some interesting character observations here and, while I can't quite buy how Cuddy's plan would actually work if the characters stay true to their canon personalities, it make for an interesting read.
