I love a good mystery, and there are several to be solved in this story. Who is the narrator? Who gave Cameron the stone and why? What are the stone's true powers? The way the narrator switches throughout the story keeps the readers on their toes and engaged in the story. Audience participation!
I must confess that I always enjoy an “unreliable narrator”. Cameron's earnest self-delusion as she continues to believe she can make House happy through espionage and sabotage and her hatred of Wilson was amusing but also moving. When Cameron sadly muses “Maybe they don't even kiss that often,” it's hard not to be at least a little ( ... )
