Yeah, I seem to be incapable of doing anything simple or easy-to-follow, much to the consternation of the people in my creative writing class.

now I may have to run down Kayser-Fleischer just to learn more about them.

Hey, if you run into any interesting information, feel free to share. I just happened to run across the information about the rings.

“People make the same mistakes,” Wilson says with a serene patience that suggests some kind of psychic knowledge of House’s minor epiphany, “Because they are afraid of the ones that are different.”

Amazing line!

And how geeky am I, to have heard of Kayser-Fleischer rings before this ep aired? I think it was from an Oliver Sacks book.

Ahh, Oliver Sacks. I think I only ever read his essays on autism and Temple Grandin, but he's covered quite a bit...

Thank for your comment! :D

This was really, really wonderful!

Honestly, there are days when he really wishes someone-either Cuddy or Cameron, most likely-will just slap his face so he can be honestly and unequivocally angry for once.

Fantastic! Thank you!

Thank you! :D Maybe I'll go on to write about House getting slapped by Drs. Cameron and Cuddy. Or is that just too predictable an angle? Hehe...

Great story, nicely built to that brief conversation, and wonderfully thought-out all around (no pun intended). Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much. :D I worried a little about the sudden jump to conversation, so I'm glad it didn't go over too badly.

Oh, I adored this. Interesting trip through House's head and House and Wilson sounded just like House and Wilson. *happy smile*
