House Femslash Fic-a-thon
Ladies,
After much discussion myself,
perfect_pride and fellow moderator, lauriestein are hosting a Housefemslash fic-a-thon for the housefemslash community.
So here’s what you need to know...
Dates
Monday 22nd June 2009- Prompts can be submitted from this date onwards. You do not have to write fic in order to submit a prompt but of course the more people that agree to write fics the better for the community! :)
Friday 3rd July 2009- No more prompts will be accepted from this date onwards. But... claiming begins! You can claim a prompt anytime right up until the posting of entries begins.
Thursday 13th August 2009- The stories may be posted from this date onwards! You just post to the community as usual.
Friday 28th August 2009- The end of the fic-a-thon. We shall be making a masterlist with a link to everyone’s fic on it after this date.
Rules
- Any femslash pairing is welcome as long as it includes a character from House. Cuddy, Cameron, Amber, Thirteen, Stacy... anyone you like! That does not mean that a pairing of House/Foreman is welcome. That may sound as if we’re stating the obvious, but there’s always one who doesn’t quite comprehend the term “femslash” isn’t there? ;)
- Threesomes including male characters are allowed as long as there is actual femslash and not just a passing brief mention.
- Each fic must be at least 800 words long, or may be a drabble (or several) that are at least 100 words long.
- No RPF (Real person fiction) at all. Any prompt that is posted will not be accepted.
- Any rating is welcome, including adult.
- No flaming or being rude to people who take the time to post fic. Constructive criticism is fine, but there is a way of doing it.
- No plagiarising. This will be taking very seriously, so don’t even think about it.
- Each prompt may only be claimed once.
- Prompts submitted will be screened whilst they’re checked by a mod.
- Each person may claim a maximum of three prompts. If you write all three fics/drabbles, then you may come back for more.
- We encourage you to use betas but this isn’t a requirement.
- If you don’t want to post your prompts publicly then feel free to message them to myself or lauriesteinand we’ll post anonymously for you.
