Its been a day
It started too early as the son and I went to sit at th ehospital with my mom and see my step father before he went in to surgery. He had kidney cancer two years ago and they took one out. Today they took out both his adrenal glands. The othe rkidney still looks good.
Apparently adrenal cancer is an all or nothing proposition surgery wise as the doctors say that chemo and radiation are not effective. Our realtionship has been vaired over teh 34 years he ahs been my step dad but he have come to a friednship in the last 20. I pray they got it all.
Otherwise things on tyhe homefront still waffle but in general spiral down. I amnot getting enough sleep still. And depression is too close a companion when i am home. it sucks. Thank god for my kids.
Thankfully I have truely wondiferous LJ friends. I am blessed with y'all.
I am ammazed in some respects at how much several are coming to mean to me.
