A/N: Ok guys, this is my second ED/DB fic and this one, it’s a little darker, deals with abuse so if you can’t handle it then you don’t have to read it. I would just like to say; I am not insinuating that this would happen in real life, cause Emily probably wouldn’t take s&%t like that from a boyfriend but I used this topic because it is a current issue amongst woman in today’s society and I don’t think anyone’s ever done a ED/DB fic like this, I took a little bit of a risk with this one so please tell me if it paid off.

There are bruises all over her arms. There are dark bags under her eyes. She looks defeated. His Emily never gives up, is never defeated. Something must be seriously wrong. Later in the day when he finally finds the courage to ask her about it, she tells him to leave it. She doesn’t talk to him for the rest of the day.
He’s sitting in his trailer when he hears it. A woman begging someone to stop. And it’s coming from Emily’s trailer. He charges out of his trailer and towards hers.
Michaela emerges from her trailer, also disturbed by the noises coming from the trailer. She sees David tugging at the door, trying to get the locked door open. A scream pierces the still air. Panic rises in her chest and she runs over to help David but the door won’t budge. David tells her to go get security, and she nods before running off. They have to help Emily.
Back at Emily’s trailer David continues his battle with the locked door and increased determination rises inside him. He’s not surprised Josh, Emily’s boyfriend has tried to stop him coming I yet, Emily is screaming constantly now. A crowd has formed around her trailer and he barks art them in a furious tone to go away. He can hear everything that’s going on inside, a glass shatters, Great sobs and Josh barking at her to shut up and be quiet. Finally, after what feels like hours of listening to his Emily, scream cries of terror and sobbing, he feels the door give way when he slams his body against it, he repeats the action and the door swings open. He is not prepared for what he sees when he looks into the trailer.
Her beautiful face is covered in bruises, her soft lips he’s always dreamed of kissing, now split and bleeding and cut marks covering her body. She’s lying naked on her couch, terror mirrors in her eyes. David yanks Josh of her and punches him in the face, He passes out from the force of the blow. Security arrives seconds later. They haul Josh’s limp body out of the trailer while David turns his attention to Emily. He approaches her slowly; as if he’s afraid she’ll brake at the lightest touch. He lifts the blanket off the back of the couch and covers her bruised and naked body. He pulls her into his lap and wraps her in his arms. She sobs into his shoulder. And he just sits there, letting her cry into his shoulder because he knows that this is where she feels most safe, in his arms.
