Public service announcement: housefic_meta information and nominations
Hi, members!
I thought I'd make a public service announcement about some story nominations going on at housefic_meta for the community's Hall of Fame list. Some of you may or may not be familiar with the community. I know there are also some that have mixed feelings about it. However, in the interest of getting word out and letting members here be aware of it (some corners of fandom don't appear to know about it) in an effort to help the community achieve a more balanced membership (and, potentially in turn, a more balanced or varied list of nominated/possibly accepted stories), I thought I'd give the members of this community a heads-up.
Some general information about the community itself can be found in the comm's profile, but I'll say that this is a suitable community to meet and discuss House fanfiction with other writers of various skill levels, and with other readers.
This isn't a pimp necessarily of any kind, but more of an announcement to encourage members here, if they wish, to nominate stories they feel are deserving of it and participate (again, if they wish) in another community in the House fandom.
Nominations for the comm's Hall of Fame list are now being accepted (and discussions have already begun), and if anyone would ever like to nominate a story (any pairing, not just House/Stacy, and any rating, and any genre of House fanfiction), information on how to nominate a story is here. For the current Hall of Fame list, you can see it here. Be aware that any story you nominate can be declined by the author, and stories that are nominated are subject to a critical and serious review/discussion before voting occurs.

It's just become apparent recently that some corners of or groups in the House fandom don't know about this, and in case you guys wanted to, I thought I'd present some info.
