Because Greg House did not believe in families, or rather, he did not believe in creating one of his own. Still the best line ever, although I do love the Vogler was his baby. That was even worse. *snicker*

I just wish it didn't end in so much angst... clearly a sequel is in order. ;)

That was so funny, I wish it weren't a dream. Except for the Vogler part, of course. The whole she-wolf/little pigs analogy was brilliant, even to the huffing and puffing he couldn't remember.

“Look, I’m trying to do the caring father thing here,” he told her. “As you can tell, it’s not part of my default setting. Work with me, will you!” If he thinks this isn't part of he default setting, wait till he has to change the baby.

Very nice sequeway into the reality portion. Sometimes reality just sucks.
