Hello :)
Had a slightly strange past few days...
Yesterday I really hurt my finger playing slam/speed (a card game) so I don't think I'll be playing it for a while...
Went badminton as well. My mum didn't want to go, but I managed to persuade her otherwise. Problem being that I ate a humungus amount of dinner, so when I got there all I felt like doing was sitting in corner not moving and trying to stop my stomach bursting... Then I got pelted with shuttles by Gary... When Gary was playing his dad, who was sitting a few metres away suddenly called to me. I turned to him and he said "Gary won the Under 18's mixed and singles!". I was like "yeah...um... good for him...". About 30 seconds later his dad called to me again to say "Are you going to the club night on Sunday? Because Gary's got a home match there!"... I mean... WHAT?? Why on earth did he feel it was important to tell me that... unless he thought that if Gary was going it would make me want to go more or something.... ahh I have no idea... Bless him though, he's like a little child, all excited about telling mummy something... though I'm not sure why I was supposed to be excited about the fact that Gary has a match...
Played mega crap as well. I blame it on the amount of food I ate. At one point, I swang at the shuttle and completely missed it and managed to smack my arm instead! Now I have a big lump on my arm which really hurts :(
Today I went to school, to sign in before going to this Young Enterprise thingy at the Leicester Tiger's ground. I was going to see if Rosie could give me a lift, but she never turned up at school, so I had to ask Merry where abouts it was, then I took the bus into town and had to walk all the way there. I wasn't exactly sure where it was or where the entrance was, so as I was walking down Welford Road, I was looking for someone to ask, and this woman was walking down and something told me she would know. And she actually worked there occaisionally and was actually helping organising the YE, even though she wasnt there herself, which was cool, so she could give me the exact directions and stuff. I'm starting to think I'm psychic...
When I finally arrived 45 minutes late, I realised I hadn't missed lots. This really cool guy came to talk to us, who was originally from South Africa. Which was even better because I LOVE the accent!! :D
Rest of it was kinda boring though...
Got a text from Matt from badminton on the way home asking me to play in a mixed match on Friday, yay! Will need a lift off Gary... Now have way too many 'Matt's in my phonebook...
Hehehehe
Love y'all x
