FROM WHEN: House is up to canon on the show itself and has what he refers as a "collective memory" of Silent Hill 1-5 [excluding Shattered Memories]
PROFESSION: Head of Diagnostics Department.
ITEM(S): Since this is his home, House can think on his feet but 99% of the time, he has his cane, his engagement ring, a picture of his family and a vial of painkillers.
ABILITIES/POWERS: House has a limited range of powers related to Silent Hill because of the deal he's made with the hell. He can instigate shifts into the Fog World for short bursts to examine people but after that, it's mostly up to the target to either figure out their problems or die, whatever comes first or easiest. Outside the Fog however, he can only sneak around people's minds for a few seconds and limited telekinesis. Either way, using these cause massive migraines and nosebleeds. Like everyone else in Silent Jersey, he can't die permanently, thanks to Valtiel but remembers everything that happened.
PERSONALITY:
* Sarcastic- Enough said.
* Morbid- Doctor + Otherworld = extremely morbid sense of humor
* Control- Above everything, House desires to have some semblance of control in his life.
* Manipulating- He loves playing mind games and making up situations to gain something.
* Loyal- He doesn't look it or act it but House is fiercely loyal to his friends and will defend them to the last breath. When it comes to Jimmy, there's nothing he wouldn't do to protect him, and later Castiel (mostly out of an almost brotherly spite)
* Indirect- He prefers to keep to himself and would rather make puzzles for the person to figure it out. At the end of the day, people learn more through experience.
* Atheist- The contradiction actually helps House be more objective in approaching the supernatural. Everybody lies, remember?
* Memory- Memories are extremely important to House because they yield information. Read wiki page to see the lengths he goes through.
* Fatherly- APPLIES ONLY TO CHILDREN HE KNOWS. After things with Jimmy became serious, House had a learning curve to accept Claire into his life and then Joshua. He grew to love them as they were his own and can't really help spoiling them every once in the while. Children by default have a Get Out of Jail Free card with him; it's the parents that are idiots. Hurt his children and prepare to die.
* Secretly insecure- add to that terrified. As hard as he may try to rationalize it, House really doesn't understand anything that happened to him two years ago. He knows he's damned and he tries to live each day as if were his last because it could be. He's a recovering addict
BURDENS SINS & BAGGAGE: Holy shit does he have guilt problems. He feels responsible for Amber's death and the Incident. He also struggles immensely with his addiction to pain medication but mostly his pain problem.
