[It's a nice, warm day in Belfast with clear skies and a light breeze. Most people are outside having a great day. ...But not Connor. Nope, he's sitting at his desk with a piece of paper that's got half a letter written. A few empty liquor bottles litter the floor around him in a sea of crumpled wads of paper. Sometimes I wonder if my people want me dead.

[And he chokes a wee bit on... whatever it is he's drinking... at that] They know better than to pull something like that, ie? After what it did to Ewythr Alfed and Mam, they can't be after something as stupid as that.

[He didn't mix anything in the bottles... yet. The label says it's rum from the mid-1500's.] Me First Minister, Deputy Minister, and Arthur's Prime Minister and Queen know better than to do such a thing delib'rately. Not many others beside them. So if mine own people ever aim for such a goal, it's out of sheer ignorance.

[Good, even Ifan knows you don't mess around with good rum, adding shit to it. Unless it's a rum and coke, but that's a different beast.] I doubt they'd go for the absolute destruction of their own country, right? [He may like mixing his booze, but he saves that for his glass or flask.] If that RIRA group decides to follow the PIRA's footsteps, I don't know how much longer this place'll last. Bloody grateful they haven't. [curses under his breath] Aye, they prob'ly would. I'd rather they wouldn't have to.

If the RIRA started acting up, Aodhan and I would find a way to kick their asses faster than it would take Mam to get out her knives. And knowing Mam you preferring she not get involved wouldn't stop her.

It's not "other people's affairs," it's family affairs. And good luck making either of them do as you say, Aodhan's just as stubborn as Mam and twice as unpredictable.

Just you watch me. I'll find a way to put a stop to them.

And by them, do you be meaning Mam and Aodhan or the RIRA?

I don't know. All three if I can.
