Hero turns Evil:
- Sue Storm as Queen of Atlantis rather than married to Reed Richards. Reed could either be a villain or a mad scientist who is ignorant of how his inventions are used or simply doesn't care.
- Reed Richards, king of the world (via science) and his bodyguard: The Fantastic Four
- Evil Black Panther with Doom armor
- Evil Xavier and Evil Destiny rule the world of 2099 (in a world with no magic)
- Vampire Storm (and Vampire Cap'n America, for that matter)
Villain turns Good:
- The Red Skull: A Real American Hero!
Religious themes:
- Lord Magneto is worshipped as a religious icon - except by those heretics who bow before the Devil Xavier
- Thor rules the world with an iron fist
- Goddess Storm rules Africa with an iron fist
- Brother Cable's Granola Planet
Because we can:
- The Dark Phoenix battles Unicron and Galactus in a planet eating contest
- Buy that cheese danish! (An excuse for a character building vacation)
