In the Formal Parlor
Sometimes things need to be done right. For Mia's first visit to the House of Arch - for tea, no less - the formal parlor has been dusted and aired out. A table has been laid with a silver tea service, two-tiered racks of finger sandwiches, and china tea cups.
The food was brought fresh from Diagon Alley earlier in the day, and the tea is Tom and Door's favorite blend.
"-but of course, you know how it is," Tom says as he and Mia step through the painting.
"Door might be able to return sooner than later, but we have no way of knowing with matters such as this. Ingress, however, is keen to share tea." He looks around the room for her. "And is as elusive as her sister, it would seem. Do sit down."
He pulls her chair out for her.
