Susan is feeling much better. She sits in the living room, bundled in a robe and covered in blankets.

She's reading a book of love poems and is in a cheerful mood.

No one's told her about Jadis yet. Her family was waiting till she felt better.

Lucy plops next to her, offering a mug of tea as she rests her head on Su's shoulder and peers at the book.

"Sap." Affectionately.

Not that she can say much, as she's enjoy the book too, but it is a younger sister's duty to tease.

"These are quality poems, Lu," she says, taking the mug and leaning her head against Lucy's. "Fine classics, I should say."

"Of course, Susan," agreeably, with a grin. "They are rather nice."

Susan giggles and nudges Lucy. "Maybe I should lend you the book so Caspian can read them to you."

"Su!" She pulls away, a little, for all she's laughing, face in her hands.

"You're horrid to me, you know. And besides," with a slight grin, "I find his words quite pleasing without poems."

"I'm your big sister, of course I'm horrid to you. Better horrid than boring."

She sips her tea.

"How is Caspian? I can't believe I've been sick for so long."

"Thanks ever so." Making a face, before she smiles, a little.

Or a lot. Not exactly a goofy smile, but one that's utterly content and pleased.

"He's quite well, I think."

"You only think? You don't know for sure?"

"You only think? You're not certain?" She's teasing. Mostly. Maybe there is a wee bit of concern in her voice.

She's blushing.

Dammit.

Dammit.

Oh well. She's used to it at this point.

"Caspian is well," more firmly, if a bit into her palm.

"Oh, do stop blushing," she says fondly. "I shan't pry."

Queen Susan is graced by Queen Lucy's tongue being stuck out at her. "It's a bit hard, you know, not to, between you and Peter and Ed," sulkily.

Except not really, as she curls up against her sister again and grins a bit as she turns the page of Susan's book.

"He's well. Rilian's here, if you didn't know, and I think that's been a great deal of help--and enjoyment, of course--for him."

"I should think so. Now I'm feeling better, perhaps I can meet Rillian. I do hate that I've not before now."

"Well, you've been ill." Sympathetically.

Which...rather brings up the other things she's missed while being ill.

Lucy clears her throat, a bit, turning another page. "And you are feeling better, then?"

"Much. I've still got a cough, and I am ever so tired after doing very little, but I'm definitely on the mend."

"I'm very glad to hear it."

She bites her lip a little.

"There's, um. Something I've been meaning to tell you."
