*He's spent the last twelve hours searching for her. She's no where to be found, and no one's seen her.
He hexed an unhelpful young man who sassed him. Then he Obliviated the boy.
Something is wrong with him. Terribly wrong. But he's in control. He can handle this.
He must find her.
Before he literally falls into bed once again, he calls for an owl and writes Arithon a quick note.
Arithon-
Door's gone missing. Been looking for her since yesterday, can't find her. Must sleep. Take care of the children in my absence - I know they're frightened. Talk soon.
Tom
He sends the owl through the portrait to Arithon's room, and then he gets into bed. His arms go round Door's pillow, bringing it close to him - close enough to smell her scent. If he had the energy, he'd cry, but the tears will have to wait.*
