I don't know what is more of a spoiler House's dad back or House in a situation where he has to wear a tie...could something have happened to Blythe?

My thoughts exactly. I alwasy thought that the next time we would see House's parents, it would be that one of them was ill. Actually, it's probably nothing. Can't wait for the new season.

Possible, but it's probably more likely that something happened to John. He wouldn't wear his full uniform to his wife's funeral...at least, I don't know any soldiers that would. If he's in full uniform, it's either a special function for him or, since he and wilson are wearing dark colors, a funeral for John. or maybe a flashback or something. it may also explain why he's not wearing pants. in a coffin, you wouldn't see past his jacket.

I wore a full Class A set to my mother's funeral so it may be possible that it is a funeral. Plus we hve the clue of House wearing a tie, something he has only done to go to court.
