Minutia (Hey did you notice...) by SciFiGeekNJ

1x01 → Pilot
- House is not wearing jeans in this episode.
- House first mentions watching General Hospital.

1x02 → Paternity
- House is sucking on a lollipop.
- The way House's pronounces ophthalmologist, a lot of folks online thought it strange, yet in Mob Rules when Cuddy say's ophthalmology the pronunciation is pretty darn close to the same.
- First time we see House's piano. (The phone he doesn't answer is on the bench.)
- When House is at home there is an ashtray full of cigar's on the table next to him.
- House first mentions hookers.

1x03 → Occam's Razor
- In the two previous episodes House shares his Vicodin, this one he announces to the people in the clinic that they can't have any.

1x04 → Maternity
- Absolutely no one believed House's diagnosis.
- When House does the autopsy on the baby the date was December 2nd, 2004. Later when he's OB/GYN lounge again he says he's performing a delivery on a patient who's prenatal he's been handling. She's due in late March, that's supposedly 5 months from now. The timeline doesn't work.

1x05 → Damned If You Do
- When the nun goes into cardiac arrest and House is listening to her heart. Sometimes the stethoscope is in his ears sometimes it's not.
- In the ending montage Cameron finds and opens a Christmas present. (Is it from House?)

1x06 → The Socratic Method
- The Nurse that House annoys. When House and Wilson are discussing why he's so interested in this case.
- This is the first time Houses has a Rueben.

1x07 → Fidelity
- The first mention of Wilson being married a few times and his possible infidelities.
- House hands Cameron his beeper after it goes off.

1x08 → Poison
N/A

1x09 → DNR
- Foreman is lefty, you can tell when he is writing on the board.
- When House gets served the papers, he immediately hands them off to Cameron.

1x10 → Histories
- The house that the rave party was held is Victoria's old house.

1x11 → Detox
- When the masseuse speaks Spanish House doesn't understand, but in Fidelity he read a medical article in Portuguese (it's not that different a language.) Then in Humpty Dumpty he speaks Spanish to Diego's mom.
- When House smashes his hand the table/tabletop is metal. Every other episode the top is glass.

1x12 → Sports Medicine
- Bryan Singer makes a cameo as the director of Hank Wiggen's anti-drug video.
- When House leaves the clinic on his way out to pick up the tickets, the exam room he leaves has a patient in it and she's crying.
- House asks for coffee black with no sugar, in other episodes he's put sugar in his coffee.
- House sits down and just starts eating off of Sharon's plate in front of him...possibly a Caesar salad.
- The State of New Jersey has a disproportionate number of New York Yankee fan's. Yet no one at Princeton-Plainsboro seems to be a fan of them.

1x13 → Cursed
- They make mention of House not having clinic duty, nice bit of continuance.
- This is the first (only?) episode that does not end with a scene or montage that House is in.

1x14 → Control
- House has been through three regime changes at Princeton-Plainsboro.

1x15 → Mob Rules
- Cuddy's pronunciation of ophthalmology is pretty darn close to House's pronunciation of ophthalmologist in Paternity.
- When Joey is brought into the ER, the paramedic say's 35 year old male, later on when House and the ducklings are talking in the lab they say he's 30 years old.
- When House first receives the car, he say's it's a 1965 Corvette, later when he's riding with Wilson he calls it a '66.

1x16 → Heavy
- When the ducklings meet with Jessica after her surgery, she has already lost a lot of weight. Implying that a fair amount of time has passed. Yet all three ducklings came and met her, so obviously no one got fired.

1x17 → Role Model
- The nurse that House tells that Cuddy likes the hardwood is Annoyed Nurse.
- House is playing High Hopes on piano when Cameron comes to quit.

1x18 → Babies and Bathwater
- In Houses dream, he walks without his Cane or a limp.
- House is looking for sugar in the diagnostic office.
- When House is in Wilson's office he keeps unpacking what Wilson is packing.
- The obstetrician in this episode, is the same doctor from Maternity.

1x19 → Kids
- The last patient Foreman sees before House takes him to work on Mary, (which he gives a clean bill of health too) is the same patient that Cuddy is seeing when House tells her he needs an operating room and a surgeon..
- After Cuddy came into the bathroom looking for House in The Socratic Method, why would he think that using the bathroom for a conference was safe from Cuddy?

1x20 → Love Hurts
- This is the first time that House actually wears a suit, not just a jacket and a tie.
- At the end of the episode House is listening to a record in his office, the song we hear is Some Devil by Dave Mathews. Which is a fairly recent album and probably not available on vinyl.

1x21 → Three Stories
- House call's Stacy sweetheart, when she is trying to talk him into the amputation.
- Cuddy is wearing slacks in the flashbacks. Cuddy is always in a dress or a skirt.

1x22 → The Honeymoon
- When House is wheeling his pilfered monitor he does not have his cane. He's using the stand to walk with but how did he get there if he didn't have his cane? Or how will he get his cane back if he left it where he got the monitor?
- The ending song of You Can't Always Get What You Want, is a nice bookend from the first Episode. It's the song he quoted to Cuddy when she wanted him to start working the clinic.

2x01 → Acceptance
- When Wilson writes on the white board he uses his left hand.
The title on the White Board says "Dead Man Dying."
- When House is eating in Coma Guy's room , there is a pickle sitting in the Styrofoam container.
- This is the first time we see House wear just a t-shirt under his jacket.
- The morning after drinking with Clarence House is carrying his briefcase not his backpack.
- House won't let anyone touch the whiteboard, but after erasing the board he tosses the eraser to Chase then after he finishes writing he tosses him the marker.
- When Cuddy Leaves Houses office to release Clarence, he is hot on her heels. By the time he reaches the room, Cuddy has clearly been there a bit. Nice subtle way of showing that House can't move as fast.
- The ball on Houses desk is completely red, it's usually grey and red.
- When House is juggling they are hanging out in Wilson's office.
- First time we see House wear a button shirt with no t-shirt underneath.

2x02 → Autopsy
- House has allergies not a cold (as most reviewers and press type people think.)
- House knows an awful lot of Yiddish.

2x03 → Humpty Dumpty
- The palm type tree in Cuddy's neighbors yard.
- House has a lollipop during his conversation with Cuddy and Wilson.
- When House gets the lollipops later walking with Wilson. He buys them, it's not a nurses station it's a newspaper stand. You can see the register.
- House puts sugar in his coffee.
- House is sucking another lollipop when he leaves the hospital with Foreman and Chase.
- House takes out and American Express card to "break" into Cuddy's house.
- House has been fired by 4 hospital administrations.
- House and Cuddy were at Michigan together.
- House calls the ducklings the Scooby Gang.
- The original airing of this episode the Close Captioning had the lyrics for a different song. Amos Lee's Colors instead of Delicate by Damien Rice which was played. Amos Lee's song is actually later used in episode "Hunting."

2x04 → TB or Not TB
- House is wearing Converse instead of Nike Shox.
- It's September and Chase speaks of his Father in the present tense. (For those trying to figure out the crazy House MD timeline.)
- When Wilson is eating trail mix, some misses his mouth and Robert Sean Leonard just goes on with the scene.
- When House gets the call from Newsweek and Chase looks at the phone, the time is 1:53 and the date is 09/07/05. (For clarification it's the American abbreviation of September 7th not July 9th.)
- House's tirade in Sebastian's room was used as a diagnosis tool. House knew that Sebastian's body can't regulate heat, which is why he used the body powder. He know he was going to be under hot lights during the press conference, so he raised the heat and took away his powder. Then went to Coma Guy's room watch what happens.
- During the scene with the "apology" to Cecilia, when the camera pans between the view of House from the clinic to the view of House from Cuddy's office. The cane is in his right hand and the left hand is holding the bag. When it switches to the view from Cuddy's office House's right hand is in the strap of his backpack.

2x05 → Daddy's Boy
- The label on House's leather jacket changes during the episode. When we first see it ,it say's KTAI later is says RTAI.
- House got money from Wilson to buy a new car but then he buys a motorcycle and through all of this no one mentions the Corvette.
- House puts sugar in his coffee.
- House has a new portable game system the Sony PSP.
- It's mentioned that spring break was over a month ago. That should put this episode as occurring sometime in June.
- Wilson drives a Volvo.
- Then House is having dinner with his parents, there is a pickle on his plate.

2x06 → Spin
- When Stacy is telling House how much work is going to be involved renewing his credentials. She mentions the criminal record check and how "that's going to take some explaining."
- House puts sugar in his coffee.

2x07 → Hunting
- This is still Houses place, it's just being shown at a different angle. I can't really explain the differences outside. Maybe a different entrance?
- House's address is 221 B, same as Sherlock Holmes.
- How does a man who can't walk leave the toilet seat up?
- The little nod the critics of the show that complains it to formulaic. It happens during the discussion with Wilson about what excuse he's going to drum up to see Stacy.

2x08 → The Mistake
- When Kayla is consoling her daughter about Sally Ayerson making fun of their dresses. She say's she'll key her daddy's new convertible. The doctor House later blackmails to do her transplant surgery is Dr. Ayerson, who's wife end's up keying his new convertible.
House takes some lollipops from the stand, I'm not sure if he pays for them.
- Kayla actually has vasculitis (on top of her other wonderful problems.)

2x09 → Deception
- OTB's (Off Track Betting Parlor's) are not legal in New Jersey. Maybe it was Pennsylvania, but I'm not sure if it's legal there either.
- Anica makes a joke about getting the questionnaire for FDR after it asks about Polio vaccinations. The actress played Eleanor Roosevelt in the movie Hot Springs.
- Foreman didn't actually meet the patient until nearly the end of the episode. Wouldn't of even met her is she didn't get readmitted. How very House-like.

2x10 → Failure to Communicate
- House calling out the medicate guy on using Viagra. "Little blue pills improve blood flow, they're vasodilators. That's why you sometimes get the headaches."
- A lot of people thought the ducklings all trying to intubate Fletcher at the same time made them seem really incompetent. House usually assigns one of them as primary. They were all acting like they were primary so they all tried to do the job.
- House and Stacy (Hugh and Sela) do a horrible job of pretending their obviously empty coffee cups were full.
- House making his own "White Board" at the airport.
- House is on the no-fly list and can't get out of Baltimore.

2x11 → Need to Know
- Not only is House's shirt ironed, its tucked in. (for a short period of time)
- When House hops the wall to get into Wilson's office, when he comes down off the wall he puts no weight on his right leg for a couple of hops.
- This may be the first time that by the end of the episode we don't feel sorry for the Patient of the Week.

2x12 → Distractions
- The hat House is wearing during the lecture is the same hat he wore to the Monster Truck show in Sports Medicine.
- Coming from North Jersey where everyone tends to be a Devil or Rangers fan. I assume that Central Jersey being closer to Philly would generate Philadelphia Flyer fans. Wilson says House uses pain to take his mind off of things he doesn't want to think about. Like the Flyers sucking.

I did not write any of the above. Please reference this post.
