Astolat's Transformers Works series, a mostly-unrelated series of fics, as of today consisting of:

• And I Alone Have Escaped to Tell You
  “This is like some kinda bad dream,” Ironhide said aloud.
  “No,” Cyclonus said, low and harsh. “But it will be.”
• Champion
  If it was anybody’s fault, it was that loser Starscream.
• Fraternization (which is my favorite and I don't even ship Galvatron/Cyclonus, because Astolat managed to write their relationship and keep Galvatron batshit insane, I think)
  “Well, uh, congratulations,” Ultra Magnus said, blankly.
  Cyclonus paused and said sincerely, “Thank you, Magnus,” looking touched, and then punched him in the head.
• The Revolutionary (second favorite)
  “I never went down,” Ratchet said.
• Antifreeze
  “Starscream, has it ever occurred to you that you’re an idiot?” Megatron said.
• Elegy (This could take place after And I Alone Have Escaped to Tell You, but it was the first one I read and I wasn't lost, so it doesn't matter what order you read them in.) 
  The halls of the dead were hushed, the sound of Cyclonus’s footfalls swallowed swiftly by distance and dust.

This video for Metal Machine by Sabaton that puts the GD/Kaiju fight together as one sequence. Not only is it a Pacific Rim fanvid, the original song itself is pretty much a long list of all the bands that Sabaton is a fan of. Sabaton is pretty much metal/history fans singing about what they love. They are awesome and you should check them out.
