The coconut, though hard and brown, in the spring gives milk to the sand, after being kissed by the green water.

There were three prominent things in my dreams last night. Oranges, fire, and cotton plants. The shadows blocked the rest. Sakaki-nii-kun said it was nothing to worry about, but it won't stop me from trying to find the connection.

mental training, prophetic dreams?

Gosh golly, I misread that as 'cotton pants' and was going to say some terrible marauder was going to steal and burn Ecchizen-sensei's cotton pants in some sort of demonic ritual.

That would be unfortunate.

Well your dream sounds more exciting than mine, anyway, Yamato. I had dreams of being attacked by the mafia and fighting people off with pairs of scissors last night.

Maybe you are worried about a pending disagreement and needing to fight to prove your point.

A pending disagreement. Are you suggesting I'm sensing an upcoming disagreement? Or that I'm thinking of making one happen?

Sensing, Niou-kun.

You have beautifully high opinions of my prophetic skills, Yamato. It's very flattering.

I totally predicted Seiichi getting a new brother though.

People can still sense things even without prophetic skill.

Blood is thicker than water, but not as refreshing. I don't sense good things from this.

I don't know if I would really care enough to fight to prove my point with most people who I might disagree with though. I don't know. There were bulletproof glass windows in my house anyway in the dream that stopped the mafia pretty much, so maybe that's a sign that I really won't care.

... I'm a little worried. Maybe. I don't know.

Perhaps it was a sign that your position was solid and unbreakable.

Worried more for Dan-kun or Yukimura-kun?

I'll keep that in mind next time I feel a disagreement coming along.

Why would I worry about the new person?

Stay strong.

Yukimura-kun can be... rather intimidating.

Thank you, Yamato. I hope you find a way to save those cotton plants-that-may-be-pants from any fires and from Ecchizen-sensei.

I think he's funny. The new person will just have to grow a spine quickly if he's intimidated by Seiichi.

I will try my best.

That would be wise.
