Dean set the baby, Colin, in a makeshift crib and covered him with a blanket. It was cold out, and dean was running out of money to take care of this kid. That was why he'd returned to Salem...running out of money didn't keep you gone for long

Sarah had picked up some food from the Pub on her way to Dean's. His call had sounded urgent and hasty. She had now regretted getting involved with him. He was impatient, pissy, and not only that he had left her without even saying goodbye.

Pulling up to his place, she got out and grabbed the food on the passenger's side. Locking her door and taking a deep breath, she slowly let it out as she moved towards his house. Getting to the front door, she knocked a few times and waited.

Dean chuckled at the knock. She was late but she'd come. He opened the door and greeted her. "Sara, darling. Come in. Please." he sort of pulled her in and quickly shut the door.

Feeling his haste, she narrowed her eyes but let it go. "I brought dinner." She turned to face him with a smile.

Dean casts his eyes down to the bag she holds. "Perfect. I have beer to wash it down. Thankyou." he smiles, kissing her on the cheek. "So, how's the relationship with Eric Brady going?" he asks, grabbing them each a beer.

Taking the bag to the kitchen, she sat it on the table and began getting the contents of it out, "Eric? Ummm...we broke up..." she refused to look at Dean hoping he wouldn't ask why.

Dean slammed the beers down. "What?" he demanded. "What the hell?"

[sarah_horton]

Sarah swallowed the lump that had now formed in her throat, "We broke up...it's not that big of a deal. Come on, lets eat before the food gets cold."

"Why?" Dean asked, picking up some of his food.

[sarah_horton]

She let a sigh escape her lips, "Dean, just leave it, okay?"

"No way!" he bellowed. "Our planw as to get Eric Bratty away from Billie, why the hell did it not work?" shoved the cheeseburger in his mouth, taking a big healthy bite.

[sarah_horton]

"Fine. You want to know why, Dean? Because Billie pitched a bitch when she found out me and Eric were together and left Salem with Mackenzie and Casey. Unfortunately for me, and apparently you..." she rolled her eyes, "Eric just couldn't handle it so he broke it off with me."

"Whoa whoa whoa, back up. So Billie left?" he grinned widely. "So it did work!" he rejoiced. "Well, whatever, why are you so sour about it?"

Sarah grew annoyed with Dean's happiness, "Whatever. Just eat before your food gets cold." Somewhere deep inside all of that had happened made Sarah feel awful for what she had done, and Dean's rejoicing only made her that more angry for giving into the creeper.

"Don't tell me what to dom, Sarah." Dean snapped. "I give the orders, remember?" he finished his burger and munched on fries. "Speaking of which,,,"

he set the fries down and pulled sarah up, bringing her to Colin's crib. "'member him?"

Sarah clenched her jaw. Sitting down at the table, she was just about to eat until Dean grabbed her and took her to Colin's crib. Looking down at the baby, she took a sharp breath, "Yeah, so? He's not my kid. Does it look like he popped out of my vagina? Didn't think so." she looked away still in his grasp.

Dean rolls his eyes. "It's Billie and Eric's. And you're gunna take him off my hands."
