Eric walks into the house at that time with the mail in his hand. He stops when he notices Billie on the couch. "You're home."

She nods. "I am, indeed."

Eric uses his foot to close the front door, and then he grabs an envelope from the stack of letters he has. Walking over toward Billie, he holds it out to her. "You still have mail getting sent here."

she takes the envelope from him, not bothering to look at him, and reads the envelope. "Hmm. Thanks..."

Eric sets the rest of the mail on a nearby table.

[billiereed]

"You guys did some rearranging and redecorating."

[eric_bradyy]

He nods. "Kinda had to keep busy somehow."

[billiereed]

"Work isn't doing that...?"

[eric_bradyy]

He shrugs. "Sometimes."

[billiereed]

"I imagine you should have been resting after getting out of the hospital, in a coma no less, rather than rearranging things."

[eric_bradyy]

"Well we don't always do what we're supposed to do."

[billiereed]

She sucks her cheeks in, trying to bite her tongue. "Clearly." she finally says.

"Besides, I'm fine."

[billiereed]

"Of course you are. That's your golden saying, right?"

[eric_bradyy]

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It doesn't matter what's going on, you're always 'fine'."
