Missing my dog.
My husband made the picture. We lost our guy to a tumor. He got sick - not eating and vomiting. The vet felt a mass in his abdomen so it was decided to have exploratory surgery to find out what it was. The vet said removing it would not be best and that it would be best to not wake him up from surgery. So we didn't get to say goodbye while he was awake but I know he knows how much we love him.
I can't believe that Charley is no longer with us. He was the sweetest dog. He was proof that the stereotype about Pit Bulls was BS. Everyone came to love Charley, even my mom who was giving the hubby the stink eye when he brought a Pit Bull home. Kids in the different neighborhoods where we lived would ask if Charley could come out and play. He loved kids. He loved Carley even letting her win their fights.
