Bush: Supports a constitutional ammendment to ban gay marriage; equated homosexuality with sin when he partially quoted the bible "I caution you to remove the splinter in your niehbors eye when you have a log in your own."
Kerry: Says that gay marriage should be a states issue and favors the states deciding on their own the definition of marriage.
GAYS IN THE MILLITARY:
Bush: Against allowing any gays in the millitary, against "Dont ask, dont tell"
Kerry: For FULL acceptance of gays in the millitary and abandoning "Dont ask, dont tell"
GAY ADOPTION:
Bush: Does not support Gay adoption of young children
Kerry: For full gay adoption rights
GAY BASHING: HATE CRIME?
According to Bush: No
According to Kerry: Yes
SHOULD IT BE ILLEGAL TO FIRE AND HIRE BASED ON SEXUALITY?
According to Bush: No
According to Kerry: "Absolutely!"

Quite honestly, why do people like Bush not understand what the word LOVEmeans? Love is a feeling. Anybody should have the right to feel that. Towards ANYBODY they want. Regardless of gender. It's not fair for straight people to have permission to love and marry someone and forbid gays and lesbians the same right just becaue they love someone of the same gender. Fucking ridiculous, really.
