GOOD MORNING
I was woken up this morning... by a fire alarm going off. =____= While 8am may not seem early to some of you poor unfortunate souls (see: people with adult jobs), it was pretty much an awful time to be awake considering I didn't have to be for another 2 1/2 hours. Grabbed my robe... figured I needed pajama pants and grabbed those too... remembered it was cold outside and grabbed coat.... came back for slippers once the cold floor informed me I was barefoot, went down the hall with the alarm still blaring, looking around blearily at similarly befuddled people, turned around in confusion, almost headed back to my room, then turned back and went outside.
I will say it was amusing to see what everyone else in the dorms came out wearing. Someone looked like a very tired, under-painted geisha. Lots of people didn't have the insight my scattered brain did to grab shoes, though some people made it halfway and were out in socks. One guy was proudly displaying his cold nipples to everyone.
It was a weird way to wake up.
.....I think I'm going to go nap.
