There was a bit of excitement this morning when I came downstairs to find Franz Ferdinand on the cover of the Sunday Herald Magazine...there was an interview and according to that their new album should be out next January! That'll be like 4 years since the last one! Hope it's worth the wait although I'm sure it will be :) Unfortunately though, Alex seems to have done something disturbing to his hair...slightly David Bowie-esque (and not in a good way!) Olympic time! Watched some of the opening ceremony but it was the highlights programme which didn't show much...saw Roger carrying the flag for Switzerland though :) Shall be interesting to watch quite a lot of the sports :p
Elsewhere, I've received my application for accommodation at Napier...tis quite scary yet exciting, the thought of moving away for the first time...although it's not even that far lol. (The postgrad by the way, is in international event and festival management - bit of a mouthful, yes!)
Anyway speaking of Edinburgh and festivals, I'd really like to go and see some stuff at The Fringe but what with working two jobs right now it may be hard to find the time :P Blah, work again tomorrow (the office temping) ...the only saving grace about this job is the cute Polish guy...haha.
Also - how much would I like to go and see David Tennant in Hamlet?! It's totally sold out though!!
