John McCain reads my LiveJournal?
In the debate on Tuesday John McCain proposed a bailout that was very very similar to what Elizilla proposed in my LJ as a modification to my mortgage bailout proposal. Wow. I wanted to publicize my views, but I had no idea this would be so effective!

Of course there is the small problem of whether his implementation of the proposal would be anything close to what he claims when he's on TV. Come to think of it, that small problem applies to almost everything he says on TV, except possibly when he's talking about deregulation.
Unlike Obama, McCain actually has a track record involving the failure of major financial institutions. Remember the S&L crisis, when hundreds of banks failed and there was a major taxpayer bailout? McCain was in the middle of it. Watch this 13 minute video to learn all about it:
