It's been 40 years since the passing of the Civil Rights Act, which protects against discrimination on the basis of race in everything from hiring to voter registration. How far has America come since then?
Belittlement of members of other races isnt cool, and it makes me mad.
Today at work. My friend Queda was about to ring someone up, she asked the lady how she was, the lady replied,"sorry I dont talk to black people."
I'm so tired of racists.
I'm so tired of people who are so uneducated that they stereotype one group of people as a whole. So if one black person is a chump, they're all chumps right?
No, I know alot of white people that act just like some black people I dont like, some mexicans too, and I dont see them any differently. Some of my best friends are black. The cutest baby in the world is black.
I hate it when people act like they really know what they're talking about and say "theres a difference between a black person and a nigger." Bullshit, theres a difference between a chump and a nice person. I guess if that statement is true every race has "niggers" and we just all use different words for it.
p.s.I'm almost done ranting.
I just dont think its ok for one person to see another doing something that they dont think is right and blame it on their race.
I dont think its ok for someone to blatently say they dont like you because you're white, or black in your own work place. I think there should be a zero-tolerance policy.
Sadly, it is necessary in this world where bigoted and racist acts are still accepted as moral choices in some places, that we caution against such a policy in the case of people who just dont know any better. For those people who have not been exposed to diversity, education and communication is the answer.
stay in school.
