Gettin it together
So this was my first weekend at Firebirds, and I had a blast. I made in three days about what I made in a week at Express.
This extra money is great since I got a flat tire Saturday morning!! I felt so stupid, it was totally my fault. I kinda swerved a little bit when I was driving and hit the curb in a corner going about 35 MPH...and 70 dollars later I have a new tire. Krikey.
On some happy notes, Jess and I went to dinner with Brian and his dad last night and had a blast. We then topped off the night with scrapbooking--always makes me happy.
This morning I got up early and registered for classes---I didn't get into my Lit class or my Buying simulation class, which really dissapointed me. I did however, get a call from Peebles this morning. My professor from last year is now the head of buying there and had given me the number of the recruiter to talk to about internships. They are sending me an application in the mail.
So in all, it was a good weekend. Lots of money and a possible internship. Its all finally starting to come together.
