MmmMmm Food!
Well it turns out that we did stay home for the day, but, before anything happened my mother called me and told Anthony and I that she and my father would love to come over to the apartment to celebrate today with us, so we said alright and asked what she would like us to make..You know how mothers are though right? She already made the food and the salads. So we said alright and she and my dad came over and we had as followed:
† BBQ Ribs (they were straight off the bone so they were really tender!)
† Corn on the cob.
† Baked Beans.
† Potato Salad
† Coleslaw
† Macaroni salad w/ shrimp
† Ice cream!!! (of course that was for dessert!)
As you can see the food was really, really, really good. We were going to have a cook out when we heard my parents were coming but who could turn down that food for hot dogs and hamburgers? Psh. You'd have to be stupid to turn that down now! C'mon! Anyways, after eating they stayed for a little while then they went on their merry little ways because we started getting a bad storm. We were all going to go to the landing to watch the fireworks but we decided not to, because it was said that it was going to rain all day today so why take a chance? Besides, everyone in the apartment complex is setting off fireworks. That's one thing I hate about Florida, fireworks are legal. *gags*
I found out my sister is back from her trip. I haven't talked to her yet today, but, as soon as she returns from being 'idle' on AIM I'll IM her and chat with her for a bit to see how her trip to Canada turned out. I hope she had a good time. Can you believe I'm still hungry? I ate like...well it's been awhile since the last time I ate, about...4-5 hours ago. So I should go and eat..maybe I'll make me a tuna fish sandwich or something..I haven't had one of them in ages. If I make it though Anthony is gonna have to make his own because he likes his tuna fish w/ relish in it. Can you imagine eating something like that? *chokes* Anyways, I'm going to go ahead and end this here and make some tuna fish. Only thing left to decide is whether I want Salt & Vinegar potato chips or Sour Cream and Onion...hmm..*thinks* This will be a hard decision to make! Take care everyone!
