If any of my dear, literature loving friends has some Ayn Rand that I may borrow I would love you forever. I would be willing to start a book exchange of some sort, or just be eternally in your debt. I've been wanting to read Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead for some time now. I could go to the library, but that's not as fun and it's out of ( Read more... )

I do have some Ayn Rand, and oddly enough, every time that author comes up, I immediately think of Mike Roberts. You see, his favorite book is The Fountainhead, which I will begin to read, as he gave me a copy a few years back as a Christmas present, signed by him. I figure, since I finally finished YOUR book, when I finish this one, I could possibly let you borrow it if you take extra special good care of it?

Have you been exceptionally busy lately? I haven't seen you online, so I hope all is well...

... hope to talk to you soon!

I have been online for the most part, so I don't know why you haven't seen me on. I wasn't on last night because I wanted to degrag my computer. Atlas Shrugged is a book that I've wanted to read for a really long time but never seem to get around to, but I remember you mentioning The Fountainhead so I figured I'd try them both. The libary idea is less than appealing because the ones around here are either old and musty or a pain in the ass to get to. However, while I appreciate the offer, I must politely and graciously decline your MikeRoberts edition of The Fountainhead. If anything were to happen to it, I may have to kill myself. Remember my strict no dying policy? So I think I'm just going to have to suck it up and get my own copy. Eventually. When I have time.

As a side note, what are you doing this weekend?
