Like a Saturday Night I'll Be Gone Before You Even Know I'm There
Sundays. I hate Sundays. They're all so so...blah. Especially this one. I hate snow, with the fire of a thousand suns do I hate snow. So what did it do? snow, of course! Of course there was freezing rain as well. Anyways...that's my opinions on Sundays. Although I have gotten a lot accomplished today. Which is always good. We all know that I need to accomplish a lot lately.
Last night was interesting. The boys had their bid night last night...so all the frats came to the sororities to serenade to us. I will just say that they put ours to shame...so dirty! Then, of course, each house (minus Beta & Phi Delt) had parties...I showed up at Lambda's...it was Mardi Gras and I had gotten 2 msgs saying that my ass had better get down there! So where else would I have gone? Well, I got there, along with about half of the campus...it was craziness!!! There were so many insanely drunk people there...and i think maybe 30-40 people were crammed into room 7-- and room 7 is by no means a large room. I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen yet this year because last weekend affiliated girls weren't allowed into frat houses from friday to monday, so it made for a slow weekend. But I'm cool, and started feeling not so great, so I left before bagel time *sniff sniff* Bagel Time is a time honored tradition between me, my Lambda big, and my Theta mom...most weekends, 2am is the time we go raid the kitchen for bagels. They're a good party snack. But I came back to Phi Mu and made some popcorn and ate it with Valerie and her b/f Steve (yeah, I was the 3rd wheel...go me) and watched about 45 mins of Pirates of the Caribbean....mm Johnny Depp *drool drool*...but then I was crashin and went to bed. And slept for an insanely long time.
Which brings me to the only good thing about today. It was freezing raining (is that a word, I dunno) and the sound of rain really relaxes me, and no matter what time it is, I like to sleep. I dunno I am weird I guess. I woke up to some bad news though....one of the girl on my hall's dad had a stroke last night...which is scary beyond all reason...I've never had to deal with that...but I hope everything works out for the best. And I think we're losing one of our Phi's.....which is real sad. Because she is a great girl. Some people I guess just can't realize that rush is over, and instead of guilt-tripping girls because they didn't go to their house, they should be happy that they got into a house they wanted to be in...I mean, believe it or not, you CAN be friends with someone who isn't in your sorority...look at me...my best friend on campus is in a different house...some people just can't see beyond the walls of their surroundings I guess... I just don't understand.
