holy crap she wasn't kidding when she said she knows the hebrew alphabet!
long weekend. i decided to forget about going to bed early thursday night and went sledding instead with my brother and that whole crew. it was a blast, but rough... they just have no mercy... they're dissapointed if everyone goes home un-injured. needlesss to say, i went home with a couple nice bruises.
friday night i babysat then went to the ale house with adam and nuge for a couple drinks. went to jimmy john's with my brother afterwards, and got home around 3. slept in saturday for the first time in awhile, then headed down to the metro for the dog and everything show with vince. we got dinner first at this amazing little deli type place and got to the show 1 band before d&e got on stage. it was a GREAT show - as usual, hopefully vince enjoyed it as much as i did.
after the show we cabbed it to barleycorn where i met up with kevin from isu and a bunch of his friends. kate met us there and we had a couple drinks and danced. vince and kate decided to go home so i stayed with kevin and his friends and proceeded to dance my little butt off for a good 4 hours straight. one of kev's friends was quite the dancer, so we had some fun... too bad he goes to school in D.C. and leaves again this week. one guy told me i was on fire, another complimented my ability to "dance to my own groove" (oook...), and another said he was going to call me the energizer bunny. YEAH ME! ha. they all told kevin he'd better bring me out more often, which i am more than up for cause they were tons of fun. we ended up at deja vu for a little while afterwards, hoagie hut for hotdogs at 4am, then back to kevin's where i crashed. got home at 2 this afternoon, did some laundry, hung out at maryrose's... and now i'm using her computer for this while vince writes a song about leprecy. oh my.
i need to go home and go to bed, i have lots to do at work tomorrow.
