it's a BIG secret
today was great at work... i've already done more in the 2 weeks there than in the 2 months i was at that other job in des plaines. actually, i probably did more just TODAY than in the whole 2 months at the other job. it's great. got 2 more big important projects handed my way... one was a 1-color ad for the forest park community guide that i cranked out in about 15 minutes cause i already had the copy for it and the other is our upcoming newsletter that'll go out in october. we print thousands of those, and the forest park thing gets circulated to every household in forest park, so that's really exciting for me just cause nothing i've designed has ever been seen by so many people before. and the forest park thing is just a simple ad, i can't wait to find out how many people will see my more extensive work. ALSO got confirmation today that my pictures from the event last week are getting a full page in one of the papers. and i talked to the lady at the place in the city and confirmed all of those dates... my first day is next tuesday, then i'll be there more "full time" for the first couple weeks of october. YEAH ME!!!
i stayed late at work cause there was so much to do, ate dinner at home, did some of my own work on my computer here, and now i'm gonna go to bed early cause i'm tired. babysitting tomorrow and wednesday night after work. wednesday is a new kid, should be fun.
