Forget the frying pan, I AM the fire
So, like I mentioned the other day, a rather interesting lady I met in a rather interesting place suggested I stop around the JSA headquarters if I ever find myself in the neighborhood. And while Gotham City isn't usually a neighborhood I find myself in very often, I'm thinking maybe it can't hurt.
Not that I think they need my help. I'll be the first one to admit, my head can get a bit big at times(well, the second person, usually, but I'm right there behind Caleb), but even I realize that the most powerful people on the planet can probably handle anything that needs handling. And if they can't, well, let's just say that I have to wonder what I could do to something that Captain Marvel or Superman can't handle. Still, things are weird here in Metropolis, and I can’t help thinking that it’s tied into whatever’s keeping the Man of Steel from phoning home and realizing that all’s not quiet on the homefront.
Ah, hell. Maybe, maybe not. More likely, this is just the result of way too much coffee, way too late at night. Even so, I think there’s something I’ll want to bring with me tomorrow, assuming I actually go.
